We’ve noticed a few homes with leaking or running hoses or water connections.
- Be sure hose connections to units are tight. Plumber’s (silicone) tape can help tighten threads so water does not drip from the connection to your home.
- If you use trigger spray nozzles around your yard, be sure to turn off the spigot when not in use. Those sprayers frequently leak. Also, the constant pressure in the hose leading to the nozzle can cause the hose to eventually leak too.
- Be sure yard watering hoses are turned off completely.
Those little water leaks can add up to gallons and gallons of water and expense. Keep more money in your pockets by fixing these little leaks.
